Prevention and Treatment for Global Travelers

As a result of this learning activity the Learner will be able to:

1. Identify common medications used for preventing and treating travel-related illnesses (RX)

2. Discuss the risks and benefits of chemoprophylaxis for a patient traveling to a high-risk area (RX)

3. Recommend medications for preventive treatment for patients with other health conditions and drugs that should not be taken due to conflicting medications. (RX)
